Amartia

Amartia es una banda de rock progresivo originaria de Francia. En 2002 lanza su álbum debut, Maïeutics, aclamado por la crítica y por la audiencia.

Algunos años después, en 2006, fortalecidos con una nueva alineación, la banda lanza su segundo álbum, Marionette, que les brindó importante reconocimiento. Con letras en alemán, inglés y francés, este album provee un sabor original a la música llevándonos a un viaje a través de los sueños y la melancolía

En 2008, Amartia lanza Delicately, que se proyecta como un álbum maduro. La personalidad de la banda crece a través de la sensibilidad y consistencia. La voz tintineante de Britta y las espléndidas melodías se alinean de manera perfecta y poderosa pero suave al mismo tiempo.

En 2011, la banda realiza un acústico lanzando In a quiet place, una interpretación íntima combinando las piezas anteriores y nuevas composiciones.

Durante estos años, Amartia ha compartido escenario con un amplio número de bandas como « Agua de Annique », « Epica », « Stream of Passion », « the Old Dead Tree » y « Pendragon ».

Con la presentación de su nueva vocalista, Amandine, Amartia se reencamina hacia una serie de nuevas interpretaciones acústicas de las piezas anteriores. Si Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd, The Gathering o Anathema están dentro de tus gustos, no dudes en introducirte en el mundo de Amartia.

Amartia is a progressive rock band from France.

 In 2002, Amartia release their debut album, Maïeutics, unanimously acclaimed by both critic and audience.

 A few years later, in 2006, fortified by a new line-up, the band release their second album, Marionette, which gained them recognition. Lyrics in German, English and French give an original flavour to a music taking you on a journey through dream and melancoly.

 In 2008, Amartia release Delicately which is seen as the album of maturity. The band’s personality arise through sensitivity and consistency. Britta’s tinkling voice and superb melodies go perfectly, powerfully but also smoothly together.

 In 2011, the band make a brief acoustic aside as they release In a quiet place, an intimate rendition combining previous pieces and new compositions.

All over these years, Amartia have been on stage with a wide range of bands such as « Agua de Annique », « Epica », « Stream of Passion », « the Old Dead Tree » and « Pendragon ».

 With the introduction of their new singer Amandine, Amartia get back on the track with a whole online set of new acoustic renditions of their previous songs. If Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd, the Gathering or Anathema is what you are into, do not hesitate to step in Amartia’s world.

Cycling Colours Vol. 6

Cycling Colours, a tribute to The Gathering, regresa con el volumen 6. Estamos emocionados porque hemos recibido propuestas de colaboración de músicos en Francia, Suecia, Noruega, España, Argentina, Chile y México.

Los temas elegidos por los colaboradores están enlistados en nuestra página en facebook. Estaremos recibiendo las colaboraciones este mes para publicar en mayo.

Como lo hemos hecho anteriormente, compartiremos con ustedes la información de los músicos que colaboran en este volumen para que puedan conocer más de ellos y de sus proyectos personales.

Nuestras publicaciones también serán en inglés a partir de ahora. Muchas gracias a todos los músicos que nos han acompañado desde hace tiempo, y bienvenidos a los nuevos amigos.

Cycling Colours, a tribute to The Gathering, is back. The sixth volume will be released next month and we are very happy to have new collaborators from France, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Argentina, Chile and México.

The preliminary tracklist is listed in our facebook profile. We will start receiving collaborations this month.

As we been doing before, we will share with you information about the musicians, so you can get to know them and follow their personal projects.
